I do not think the self-stick envelopes seal well, so I have tended to use the traditional envelope that requires moistening the adhesive. In this era of Covid I decided that licking to moisten should be a retired. This device works fine. Be careful, it might drip a little, but only if one gets the sponge part too wet. I am pleased with it.
