Our 3M Adhesion Promoter 06396 is a convenient liquid primer for enhancing the adhesion of 3M Acrylic Foam Tapes in automotive applications. This adhesion promoter works with most LSE plastics used for interior and exterior automotive trim and parts. Fast-drying fluid is available in .85 oz. (2.5 cc) sponge applicator packets, each covering up to 150 sq. in.

For use on LSE plastics with 3M Acrylic Foam Tapes
You have to be off your rocker to think this stuff is rubbing alcohol, it is NOT. But cleaning prior to application with alcohol is a good idea. It works amazingly well to prep for 3m foam type tapes like VHB. Painfully, these do not go far and are only good for up to a 18x18 area tops per package. If you want your tape to be installed in a permanent fashion, this is what you want to use. My only advice - wear gloves when using!
