I like that the sponge doesn't hold water for long so if you store them on the edge of the sink they don't get nasty moldy, I Really like using them on plastic dishes to remove left over oil. It goes off the plastic and then rinses off the sponge. I think of it as a grease eraser. I am so pleased to find this at Amazon because I can order and I don't have to go inside the store. I was having trouble with that, now I am set up for a while on my sponges and I know how to get more. This was cheaper than the grocery charges too. I am very happy.
