Quickly, about the grips. They are pretty well made, but dont overtighten locking screws, i can see them stripping. And i was trying to find a set with one long and one short, to use with the one quick grip shifter i have on my bike. (Btw, can anyone help me with that?) So thats only reason i docked a star. Now, please read on, enjoy, and remember how the smallest things made us happy as kuds; and as i would find out still puts a smile on this 43 year old. This is really more about Relax Time and Amazon. After ordering a set, in mid delivery I decided to go a different direction with color scheme. So I called, and they told me that they will stop delivery and have it sent back to them, and when it gets there I'll get credited. Very very fair. Told me like 2 or 3 days. (Now, I needed those credits soon so I can keep my bike on schedule ). So 2 days after talking with amazon it arrives at my house. I'm like dam, now I got to wait an extra couple days for my credits while I send it back. I called amazon to let them now,and they credited me on the spot. So I asked what you do with the box, how to do return. They said do as u wish, keep them, send back, whatever; I'm credited anyway. So I did what I told them I'd probably do. I gave them to one of the young neighborhood kid's that ride bikes all around here. Actually had a little fun drawing/lottery to see who gets them. The winnING kid was so happy, he put them on right away, and even though they might look a bit over long on his bars, he is still happy to this day, making sure not to scuff them up too much and keep them clean. So, thank you Amazon and Relax Time. You went way over what I was asking for, and you absolutely elated a little kid. P.S. so now other kids are trying to pick up odd jobs to buy their own products from Relax Time. It will be fun to see them try to outdo eacother.pic is of grips, and me just screwing around with different color schemes.I just received these and they seem OK, but of course I can't comment on their longevity. I bought them to replace a pair of rubber handlebar grips that turned to sticky glue in the heat. I hope these will not do the same. The only issue I want to mention is that the soft outer rubber encloses a stiff, straight plastic tube that will ONLY fit on a straight handlebar. Also, I have a pair of handlebar extensions that mount on the exterior end of the handlebars. The extensions will NOT fit with these grips without some modification to the grips. I modified them by cutting away a small portion of the inner plastic tube and only using one of the included metal rings to fasten each grip to the handlebar.It's hard to buy some things online without touching them, but these did not disappoint! When they came and we opened them my husband said "WOW, these are exactly what I was looking and what a great grip they have, and look they fit my hand just right"....so I guess "his" reaction was the best review that I could give you!Well made, I wouldn’t classify them as , “super soft”. They do have a sponge feeling but they are still a lot more firm than the foam ones I took off my bike that were twice the thickness. I was looking for more of a, “softer sponge” feeling.Does what it should. Not as cushiony as I wanted, but good overall.Bar handlebar caps are fragile. Break apart from light scratches. Bought metal end caps instead as a replacement.I replaced our original "hard rubber" mountain bike grips with these.The "Relaxtime" grips are so soft,comfortable,and a quality made product.So,out with the old and in with the new soft grips,....hahaha!Thank-you Relaxtime and Amazon.These are soft but nothing special and slick when wetLooking to minimize vibrations on an English 3-speed style commuter bike. These grips are good unless you have smaller hands. Also very stylish with gold accents! Purchased used from warehouse and a small part was missing, but support was excellent so here's a good review.
